Matt Priebe's work is an examination of constructing and de-constructing layers to achieve both balance and disorder. Priebe commits himself to an organic process in which his reactions are exploited and explored with his color palette. He uses his vocabulary of color to capture the viewer between twilight and darkness.

Privately schooled in abstract expressionism at an early age, his work remains true to his teachings yet embraces his own experiences. He was born in Phoenix, AZ in 1976 and has lived and painted in Jerome, Seattle and Los Angeles. Priebe's work is a part of collections internationally and participates in many annual shows.
His work has been featured in television and film production and publications including LA magazine, Phoenix Magazine, and the Arizona Republic. Matt's recent commisions include a mural for the Four Seasons in Dubai and a photo sculpture for a feature film production. He currently lives and works in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona.
